- After WPS, Ewe Leong studied in Penang Free School from 1966-70. In the years immediately after, he went to Han Chiang High School to do his A-levels.
- He built his career as a professional valuer and surveyor, practising in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
- Ewe Leong retired in 2016.
