Journey through time since WPS:
  • Upon leaving WPS, Seng Huat went to Westlands Secondary (1966-70) and started working after Form Five. 
  • In the first two years (1971-73), he worked at the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore. After that, he returned to Penang and, from 1973 to 1976, occupied a position at the Hong Leong Lurssen Shipyard in Perai. 
  • For about 20 years after (1976-96), Seng Huat ventured into the construction industry. Since his exit from the industry, he has worked freelance on management services. 
  • His other interests include social activism (e.g. in promoting volunteerism) and mediation.
